Safe Places is a collaborative initiative between Your Choice Barnet, Barnet Mencap and London Metropolitan Police. The scheme encourages local businesses in and around Barnet to become areas of safety and sanctuary for local disabled people in the event of becoming lost, distressed or a victim of hate crime. This blog has been created to signpost the progress of Safe Places and provide general updates and information for new businesses who wish to join our scheme.
